General information about the project
The State Higher Vocational School in Koszalin implemented the project "Development of Qualifications and Competencies of Students of the State Higher Vocational School in Koszalin," co-financed by European funds under the Knowledge Education Development Operational Programme (PO WER) , Axis III. Higher Education for Economy and Development, Measure 3.1. Competencies in Higher Education. The Intermediate Body was the National Centre for Research and Development.
Recipients
The project was aimed at fourth-semester students of all majors at the State Higher Vocational School in Koszalin. It was conducted in two editions.
Goals and effects
The main goal of the project was to prepare students of the State Higher Vocational School in Koszalin to enter the job market by equipping them with additional competencies and qualifications sought by employers. The expected outcomes included students acquiring skills such as:
- communication skills, including the ability to work in a team,
- interpersonal skills,
- digital competences,
- analytical competences,
- new professional experiences.
Activities
The following activities were carried out as part of the project:
- interpersonal workshops,
- IT workshops,
- certified vocational training,
- project teams,
- study visits.

total value of eligible expenses: PLN 735,900.00
amount of funding from European funds: PLN 649,500.00
Project implementation period : 1 January 2017–28 February 2019.

Study visits
Study visits
As part of the second edition of the EU project "Development of Qualifications and Competencies of Students of the State Higher Vocational School in Koszalin," , study visits to employers are being held. Each project participant completes four visits – one off-site and three in Koszalin and the surrounding area – to familiarize themselves with the operations of individual companies, various plants and facilities, their specific characteristics, and employment opportunities.
Interdisciplinary project teams
From October 22nd to 26th, 2018, as part of the EU project "Development of Qualifications and Competencies of Students at the State Higher Vocational School in Koszalin," met . Throughout the week, 16 teams, under the supervision of 16 lecturers, worked on a variety of topics. On the final day, they presented the results of their research, explorations, and reflections. Everyone performed exceptionally well – congratulations to the team members and their supervisors!

We are continuing our work on the EU project "Development of Qualifications and Competencies of Students at the State Higher Vocational School in Koszalin." Nursing are participating in a professional training program called "Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation with ECG Interpretation."
